Girotto Precast is a family business, founded in 1987 in Melbourne. Its first manufacturing plant was built in Dandenong, which has been in continuous operation since it first came on line in 1987.

A closely held and managed family company, Girotto Brothers Constructions began when Pietro Girotto and his brothers came to Australia in 1961. The brothers quickly established a reputation for excellence, bringing with them the best in European work ethic and the latest concrete handling techniques. The residential and light commercial work they began was always completed on time, on budget and of the highest quality, exceeding customer specifications.

With its growing success, the company expanded both in infrastructure and the scale of its projects. The Girotto family adopted a strategy of continuing investment in technology, plant and training to ensure its competitiveness and strength within the concrete industry. The company prides itself continuing capital investment via its retained earnings.

Girotto Precast more than doubled it's operation in 1997 with a second manufacturing facility in Prestons. In 2003, Girotto Precast established a third state-of-the-art facility in Newcastle, NSW. All facilities are fully equipped with the most up-to-date machinery and equipment. Girotto Precast has quickly emerged as one of the market leaders in the manufacture of concrete precast panels in both states, with an enviable reputation for excellence in product quality and customer service.
