Q. What types of projects are you involved in?
A. Girotto Precast is involved in producing commercial projects such as individual and strip shops, shopping centre's, mid rise and high
rise buildings. Girotto Precast's industrial projects include warehouses and factories. Girotto Precast also constructs residential developments
such as individual houses, basements, medium and high density residential apartments.

Q. Do you make hollowcore walls or floor planks?
A. Girotto Precast currently do not produce hollowcore products. Other members of the NPCAA offer these products and services in each state.

Q. Do you manufacture ‘insitu’ floor slabs and driveways?
A. Girotto Precast do not produce ‘insitu’ floor slabs and driveways. Other members of the Cement and Concrete Association offer

Q. Do you make garden gnomes, bird baths and pavers?
A. Girotto Precast does not produce these products. You can find these products at your local nursery, garden supplier or hardware store.

Q. Do you make freeway barriers?
A. Yes, Girotto Precast does produce acoustic barriers. These are not to be confused with jersey barriers which are not produced by Girotto
Precast.

Q. Do you make car park buffers?
A. Girotto Precast does not produce car park buffers, which are also referred to as wheel stops.

Q. Does Girotto Precast accept payment by EFT?
A. Yes, if you would like to pay by EFT please contact our Finance Manager.

Q. What panel thickness do you manufacture?
A. Girotto Precast can produce any panel thickness, however, standard thicknesses are 125, 150, 175, 180 and 200.

Q. Can I get a copy of some standard precast details for my studies?
A. Refer to links page. NPCAA and other reference material such as ‘Precast Concrete Handbook’ produced by NPCAA & CIA and/or
‘Industry Standard Precast and Tilt Up Concrete Building’ - Information about guidelines for a safe working environment where
precast and tilt up concrete is used. These publications are good reference materials for precast standards.

Q. What size panel can you manufacture?
A. There are many variables that influence panel size. Some of them are site location, transport and regulator restrictions. All panels
are made to order. Contact Girotto Precast's Sales Team to discuss your specific requirements.

Q. Can I e-mail drawings to you?
A. Drawings can be emailed to Girotto Precast's corporate email address, precast@girotto.com.au,
directly to the Sales Team or the detailer working on your project. When providing drawing files in DWG format please ensure that they can
be viewed or printed by supplying all relevant plot and configuration files. Drawing files can also be supplied in PDF format.

Q. What sorts of finishes can you provide?
A. Girotto Precast provides a range of finishes from broom, smooth, flat, exposed aggregate, bush, hammered, washed, brick inlays, various
form liner and various colour mixes.

Q. What is your square metre rate for 150mm thick horizontal panels?
A. There are varying factors involved in precast projects that affect the overall square metre rate. Some of these factors are site location,
transport, engineering for in service conditions, manufacture and erection, architectural requirements and regulator restrictions. Send your
drawings to Girotto Precast and we will provide a prompt cost estimate, based on the drawings provided.

Q. Do you take work experience students?
A. Girotto Precast appreciates the importance of education and training. From time-to-time, work experience students are employed at Girotto
Precast to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience from the Precast Industry.

Q. What’s your lead time?
A. Lead times depend on current projects, scheduled works and your project specifications. Girotto Precast has extensive experience with
managing reliable lead times. Please contact our Sales Team with your project details for a projected lead time.

Q. How heavy can you make a panel?
A. Although this is dependent on the circumstances surrounding a project, Girotto Precast has manufactured panels up to 17 tonne.

Q. Apart from panel erection, what other site work do you provide?
A. Girotto Precast provides associated precast works on site such as caulking (joint sealing), grouting, welding (of panel to panel connections
only) as well as the supply and removal of braces.

Q. Do you take on projects outside of the metropolitan area?
A. Yes, Girotto Precast provides panels across metropolitan areas and beyond. Some projects completed outside metropolitan areas include
Warrnambool, Benalla and Bairnsdale in Victoria and Wollongong, Newcastle and Mittagong in New South Wales.

Q. I need to waterproof panels so how do I go about this?
A. This can be achieved in several ways. Waterproofing can be accomplished by combining additives in batched concrete, by applying waterproofing
seal to the panel after pour or after the panel is erected.

Q. What can I cast in a panel?
A. There are many different types of items that can be cast into a panel. Some of the most common items cast into panels are penetrations,
doors, grills, vents, recessed signage or numbering, and conduit for electrical or drainage. If you have a specific requirement contact our
Sales Team to discuss.

Q. Do you design precast panels?
A. Girotto Precast provides shop detailed drawings of precast panels based on the requirements of the architectural and engineering drawings
or designs.
